Royal Guard Staunton Chess Set in Golden Rosewood & Boxwood - 3.25" King

Our Royal Guard Staunton chess set is designed for the rigors of everyday play and especially a game of blitz. We introduced the Royal Guard in 2008 with exactly that in mind, a chess set with an attractive knight having only the simplest of features but with a new look players would enjoy. Pieces have green billiard cloth pads for a soft feel when moving and are properly weighted for stability on the chess board. The golden rosewood and boxwood are hand polished to a beautiful sheen. The Royal Guard will prove a favorite for the casual chess game at home or using in tournament play.
